I haven't sat down and done the numbers but I don't think 90 days has the numbers. What saddens me is that, in its first major legislative test, the Maori Party has given its members a conscience vote and many of them are going to vote for this bill. I do hope that other parties of the (relative) Left will bear this in mind when entering coalition negotiations with the Maori Party. Although I guess they would still be a better option than United.
