I've just been spoiled by my flist for the first time in a very long time. Can't believe we have to have this discussion again, but... people live outside the States! They don't get to watch things as they air! If, on Sunday, a brand-new episode aired, then major content from that episode is STILL A SPOILER THAT MONDAY. Yes, you can choose to be an asshole and say that it's not a spoiler after the episode airs, but WHY BE AN ASSHAT. seriously.

Worst thing is, they were trying to discuss it IN THE SPOILER THREAD, i.e. so non-spoiler whores would stay unspoiled. But nooooooo. Seriously, do they think Canadians are non-people or something? Or that if they opened an episode thread then people who were dumb enough to click into it and get spoiled wouldn't deserve what they got?

It just bugs me because there are other shows (*coughDoctorWhocough*) where they're whole seasons ahead of America, and those boards seem to manage having places for the Brits to chat about the latest season and places for the Americans to discuss the old one just fine. People remain unspoiled for literally six months or more. Do they really think Heroes fans are so dumb they couldn't hack one day of this?
