I think it's possible, but I wouldn't have said it was probable, especially at that point. As I remember it, the chain of events was that she was the sole survivor of her family's massacre while the village gave her no support, and that was traumatic enough to send her out with the wolves. I remember the headman & co. caught her out there, and I'm really fuzzy on what happened between that and leaving the village... but... yeah.

Although Daine's virginal attitude in some of the later books might be said to preclude this.
Like the fact that she's jealous of what's-her-name and doesn't know why in Emperor Mage, I guess.

Although she seemed very matter-of-fact, no internal dialogue or whatnot, in the Realms of the Gods. Like, "lalala, I'm just hanging around without a breastband and snuggling Numair... What?" That surprised me.
