Happy meme, day 3

Things that made me happy today yesterday:

1. Working! Money is delicious.
2. Buying "Yarn Harlot" by Stephanie Pearl-Mcphee to read on the bus. (I already own Knitting Rules and read her blog obsessively, but still.)
3. I was working the bar at a Simpson-Grierson christmas party (and, by the way, their offices were nice enough to make me seriously consider scrapping this whole Arts thing) and there was this totally adorable redhead there. I flirted in my lame way and it's possible she even flirted back! Probably not, and of course, I will never see her again, but it's nice to have some fun for a change.

it would have been so much better that I demand future comments lefr in my journal take that form!!!

She's so hilarious, and also a lot of the things she thinks about non-knitting stuff remind me a lot of my mum/and hence me, so. (except a lot funnier than either of us.)

I'm not, I'm not, it's just... ooh, money. But realistically, if I did a law degree I would still probably end up in a tiny office trying to Change Stuff instead of a massive one trying to Support Big Business.
