Okay! I got the music! (most of it. La Folia wouldn't come though for me... :-( But <3 whoever sent it, 'cause they have great taste.) And thank you! <33333 everyone.

Animaniacs: made me laugh, made me cry, made me want to be five agan and think the Brain was just THE COOLEST THING EVER. (I was always a geek, okay?) <3, gabby. :p

The Serial Experiments Lain theme song: Cool! I really like the way her voice appears out of nowhere before the rest of the band comes in- chilling. And she has a lovely tone. :) Thanks, [livejournal.com profile] manic_subbie!

Cool Change- also very nice. Who sent me this one? :D Old school and cool. Er, cool is prety reduntdant given the title, innit? Anyway, old school being very much my thing...

You've Been Around-- I liked it first hearing, but I think it's going to grow on me the way the Labyrinth soundtrack did, 'cause it kinda had that sound. Loved the guitar. Mmm, I love guitar. And guys singing duets in harmony, which guys seem kinda resistant to, for some reason. Also, is this the same Gary Oldman as in Sirius Black? Or is it like a complete coincidence? I've been seeing him around (mostly also on teh Shoebox soundtrack) and I've been wondering for a while. And, um, who do I thank? I think somone might have mentioned this one *is guilty* but I forgot. :-S

British Sea Power- Miriam, right? This is pretty different to what I usually listen to, which is GOOD. I hate to stagnate. But I don't want to offer any mroe opinions on this till I listen to it a bit more, because I feel unqualified. ;) but thankyou!

<3, guys. THANK YOU! You really improved my playlist. :D

And in slightly related news, I think i need to buy some Belle and Sebastian. Which album's good? :D Songs I have heard and liked (thank you, [livejournal.com profile] gianp) are Judy and the Dream of Horses, This is Just a Modern Rock Song, and If She Wants Me. especially the last one. So. Album?

If She Wants Me is from Dear Catastrophe Waitress, which is the latest album and the only one I've seen in any shop. It costs about $35, I think, because it's an import, but it's worth it. I'm a Cuckoo and Piazza New York Catcher are my favourite songs on it ^_^

I used to be obsessed with Pinky when I was 7 >_< every other word I said was Narf!

I saw a couple of Belle and Sebastian albums in Sounds, I think it was, today- I mean, not just Dear Catastrophe Waitress. it was $36.95. I;m officially taking donations, rich people on my flist. :p

Not me sorry! I have a grand total of $21, since I bought The Libertines on Saturday. Damn $35 CDs. It was between the Libertines, the Killers and Razorlight, Libs was more expensive than the other two but I bought it because it had the most tracks...

*sigh*

I'll have to ask my other rich friends, then. I have lots. Like, um...

umm...

... I do, really. ;)

Yeah. gianp has told me about the horrid price gouging from importers... I really feel all of your pain on this one. Even albums in South Korea are reasonably priced for coming from the States (say, about the same price as IN the States!!)

It's all about getting really chummy with me and end up with a ton of *ahem* CD-Rs... with... stuff. on them. Yeah. :-)

Mmm. I actually had never noticed till now, because all the stuff I like is, you know, fairly typical stuff. They only stick the "imported" sticker on stuff that isn't really popular, or something... it wasn't really bad though, the one I saw was only $2 more than a CD would usually be-- depending on the CD, I suppose. Actually, CDs themselves should just be a lot cheaper all round, I believe.
