Hmm...

Went for a French study class today. It was pouring down, absolutely miserable weather, and I'd been in too much of a rush to get breakfast, and when I finally got to school at nine no-one was there. So I went over to the Holiday Programme, in case someone was there who couldtell me where to go- I was actually thinking of Meg. However Debbie turned out to be there instead, along with Jaime and Rachel Hunter- no, not the one who married Rod Stewart, the other one. Anyway, Debbie laughed at me (I must actually have been a pretty comic sight, wrapped up in three layers and a beanie under my hoodie) and told me study classes didn't start till ten.

HEADDESK.

Anyway, I stuck around with the Holiday kids for a while, helped them decorate kite and then watched Debbie play a very energetic game of Simon Says with them, which was, you know, hilarious, as Debbie is like an Energiser battery- she just keeps going, and going, and... ;) Anyway, she's the only one who could possibly keep up with twelve kids aged between eight and 12...

And then I went to French and mucked around in town, and then came home. But on the way I realised that I need writing practice for two things: French and poetry/creative. I need to do it daily, really, and since I'm a total feedback whore I lose all those damn stupid pieces of paper I keep writing on, and I would like to keep them somewhere accessible other than a PC (because I'm moving, mostly)... So, would it annoy you all if I chucked a poem a day up here? Or some other piece of creative writing? (I'm hoping it will expand into actual stories, too.)  Or, alternatively, should I get a creative journal- this would actually serve two purposes, because I could stuff all my stupid icons and things up there-?  And if I did, what shoudl I call it?

le_camion_rouge is cool. Or, mm, carnet_feuilles_rouges, except I don't think that says what I want it to say (which is red notebook pages. The pages are red, not the notebook. The words are all there...) Or I could just go feuilles_rouges, which means red leaves. (It's a pun, too. Red leaves, as in autumn, and read leaves, as in pages. Hee.) Although, you know, journal titles in French are so pretentious... :D And you know I've already got one.

So, opinions requested. :D

Just post any poetry/stories here - after all, we're probably the people who'll be reading them, and you can use cuts, so if people don't want to read them, they don't have to.

Are you going to write poetry in French? Because that would a)be cool and b)allow you to practice both French and creative writing at once. :D

You may be right.

I'm not sure. I was thinking about one a while ago. But second-language poetry is maybe not a good idea. ;) Hm. I will think about it. Maybe I'll use phrases? Like Michelle. ;)
