Um, I suppose it's possible that [livejournal.com profile] gabysun really doesn't know it. But Lucy? Mim? Shocking, girls.

Anyway, it's the Clapton and Cream version, off Best of Cream. :p

And... I have exams this week, starting with Calculus tomorrow morning, so I won't be around much. Think of me occasionally, though, suffering my way through mocks.... :p

I actually knew this one but since I'd never, ever heard the song, only the name, I thought I'd better not guess... hehe.

Yeah... :p Such a good song, though. very political, and stuff.

19- heh, yeah. And twenty...? :D

[identity profile] miriamus.livejournal.com 2004-10-03 02:58 am (UTC)(link)
Why are you saying we should know it? :P

[identity profile] miriamus.livejournal.com 2004-10-03 02:58 am (UTC)(link)
(It's a very obscure line of the song)

[identity profile] sixth-light.livejournal.com 2004-10-03 04:41 am (UTC)(link)
Because there are only eight lines in the song, and she expects us to know all of them. She overlooks the fact that we are not English soccer fans. :P

Or that that song only makes me think of one thing, the image I saw when I first heard it at the age of three - one of those big boat swings only it's coming out of the sky, and it's shaped like a purple stagecoach. When you get associations like that so young they stay there forever.

Miriam, you at least have sung it. it was a House music song a bit back.

And hello, EVERYONE knows that song. *HEADDESK*

Eight lines.

Eight.
And lots of them are repeats.

jeeze, I don't know, honestly.

And who are you calling an English soccer fan, missy?

[identity profile] miriamus.livejournal.com 2004-10-04 04:42 am (UTC)(link)
It wasn't house music that I remember!!! Are you sure it wasn't 1998?
