I hope for your sake that you do decide to try CH, look, at the worst you can always switch, a couple of people my year did. (Some people can't handle the way things work) I think you're over-analysing the situation, it's not a private school, forget what you know about school, people act differently at school. Clique-y? I could look at the photo of the 150 odd people and tell you that I was friends with all but about 10, and believe me, I'm not a natural fit in person! You go to Uni Halls to live, you go to CH for the atmosphere, the fun and the culture. It's something you can't experience anywhere else and it would be a shame if you missed out. My two cents anyway.
