I am so glad and thankful for Public Address: I never read any newspapers or listen to the radio any more, so it is my only source of news.*

So I wouldn't have found out about this without Hard News. But also, I wouldn't have got to read a seriously pissed off Russel Brown; I find it moderately amusing. :)

*I know this is bad in a number of ways. >.< But, fuck, I hate the radio (although... I guess I should start listening to National... gods help us) and my newspaper is The Press.

Did you read the right-wing blog (David Farrar's) that he linked to? What a monumental piece of bullshit. (And let's not forget that Farrar is Mark Blumsky's campaign manager). And all the little wannabe conservatives crawling out onto his comments section to parrot bullshit from the American right. Geez, we gotta organise...

:-/ I read the first paragraph, and then I stopped; I've heard that kind of crap before and I really feel no need to read it all over again. Also, I've read a little of that particular blog before and *makes a vomiting sound*

We do have to organise. :P Find a good comment section we can monopolise, or something. :P

I know it doesn't, it's just... daunting. I have struggled, yes, struggled against the evil of an all-news, all-adult, grown-up, boring stuff for yonks. But it may end up being the only way I can get my news.
