Ahh, I wrote an inclass essay I'm sure I flunked, and then I studied a lot, and got more work piled on me, and all the usuals of school life, and then I started spazzing out because I have my Comparative Literature midterm next saturday and I haven't studied. . . xD and all I can seem to remember are "A rabbits ears are a sexual metonymy (READ: Phallic symbol)" and "Amor condusse noi ad una morte."

Hey, congrats! I shall throw you an imaginary party as I sit here in my library.

Library parties are the best parties. *snerk* I told my coworkers my marks and they were all "So you'll be going home and celebrating tonight, then!" And I was like "uh, maybe," on account of, you know, I live with gigantic family. :p And what did I do? Came home, did the washing, cleaned the kitchen, cooked dinner, watched three episodes of Angel and a documentary on Stevie Wonder. By comparison, an imaginary library party is quite adventurous!

WRT French- I know a couple of people who all could have done 201 and decided to do 124 instead, and I did too, and I really recommend it. I haven't done 201, I'm doing it this semester so I really don't know what it's like, but 124 is- well, not hugely interesting, but it is sort of not-fabulously-easy, and also, it's a second semester class so you've forgotten a lot... Anyway, I would say, do 124 because it's a good introduction to studying languages at university- which is different to studying them at school.

Fair enough. Maybe a break would be a good idea since I've been doing French since year 7, and I've been in love with France since year 3... lol

And I'll be doing Russian all year. Which will be cool.

Also, isn't 124 mostly grammar?
