t probably hasn't actually deleted anything, it's just totally fucked itself. I'd really advise trying it in another computer, or checking your data cables.

I'm really, really hoping that it is fucked, yeah. Which sounds crazy, but considering it should still be under warranty and maybe the shop guys will be able to get it back... *crosses fingers* Yeah, we tried it on a couple of other computers (all Macs, but still) and didn't get anything, so.
