Just watched But I'm a Cheerleader which was, hey, awesome. Impressions were mostly that I really, really love Clea Duvall, and can people please recommend me stuff she's been in (other than Heroes, which I've seen, obvs); Natasha Lyonne (who played Megan) has a really hot voice; and oh, hey, that's Melanie Lynskey, of Heavenly Creatures fame, and she's lost a lot of weight that she really shouldn't have.

In other, guaranteed-to-disgust news, we finally called exterminators to get rid of a terribly persistent colony of mice, and it is so horrible. The guy put down glue traps, and I really wish I'd asked specifically for back-breaking traps, because basically what a glue trap is is a giant really sticky piece of paper, they run on, they can't run off. The guy reckoned they'd die fairly quickly of exposure or exhaustion and that it was humane, and um, one, that doesn't really sond humane, and two, even if it was TINY DEATH SQUEAKS. But foolishly I forgot to check wikipedia and accepted his assurances, when, in fact, PETA turns out to be opposed to glue traps and oh my god they look so pathetic. *miserable* these cute little things sprawled out in death, I kind of want ti cry. :(

Humane traps tend not to kill the mouse, right? See, we have nowhere we can release them, so I am onboard with the little mousey deaths. Just not slow and painful. :-/

:( Nowhere? Wah, poor mice! I personally don't believe that there are any traps that really can guarantee a quick pain-minimum death for the mouse. *shudders* I hate traps.
