I just wanted to say that due South turns out to have one of the best redundancies in terms of archives and being-able-to-find-stories-other-places and, may I just say, THANK GOD, because otherwise one might be going through this really rather old-ish fandom and having a lot of 404 errors. And ljs deleted without trace.

And, OK, I would like to take a moment to say that seriously, people, if you are thinking about deleting your fic-writing livejournal and taking down your website(s) and flouncing, or whatever - well, first, STOP. DON'T. I would like you to NOT DO THAT, thank you, in case I someday get into your fandom. But if you MUST do that, please consider archiving your fic somewhere? or alternatively make sure no-one has ever recc'd you, anywhere. I appreciate you considering my demands, kthxbi.

OK: I acknowledge that people have the right to flounce however they want to flounce. But when people flounce who have been recc'd from here to infinity and back in fifteen different fandoms, that flouncing can be extremely fucking frustrating and I don't feel bad complaining, at all, since hey: they flounced, they don't know I'm doing it.

Flouncing when you have been recced everywhere should be punishable by some sort of jail sentence. Or perhaps enforced Pit-reading time.
