Just randomly...

desperemus - is this a jussive subjunctive which would be translated as let us despair? Comes from despero, -are, -avi, -atum (to despair). If not, do you know what it would be?

Success! It was just a speech mark problem, which apparently made the rest of the HTML in the entry invalid...? Strange but true.
