So I went to the doctor's today
I guess most of you remember that I've had issues with my platelet count lately. It was treated with steroids and looking really hopeful, way up in the normal range, around about 175 (normal is 150-400 or so). Last month I went off steroids and I went in for a final checkup and blood test today. I had my blood test around 9, and then waited from 9.15 to 11.15 to get called. >.> My appointment was for 9.45, so I was early, but still. Anyhow, the doctor was absolutely lovely and very professional...
... and my count's dropped down to 84. :-/ This is not a serious problem healthwise but it's probably a sign that it's going to continue dropping so guess what? I'm back on steroids. I have to go in for another test next week, as well, which means time off university. I just feel so dispirited because it's all so dumb- I've been feeling totally crappy for the last few weeks, as well, generally miserable, tired, crying all the time, bitchy, unstable, agressive, even manic. *sigh* I guess that could be a reason why. I also haven't had my period since early february, which I forgot to tell doctor about. *kicks things* I've worked for six days straight, I'm not eating properly because I'm working evening shifts like 3-11, which means I don't eat a proper dinner because I don't have time to cook and there's no-one at home; also, it's freezing and I haven't got a heater. I really needed to be able to go to the mall and treat myself to something, but all I could afford was my prescription and some soap.
At least I got nice soap. :-/
ALSO I just remembered I didn't hang out the washing and it's gotten all gray and will probably RAIN which means drier except half the stuff won't go in drier on account of being wool or delicate. SUCKTASTIC.
*sigh* Anyway. Sorry to unburden all over y'all. If I owe you comments or replies or anything, I'll try to get around to them before work but can't guarantee it; feel free to harass.
