If you have time...
If you read this, if your eyes are passing over this right now, even if we don't speak often, please post a comment with a memory of you and me. It can be anything you want, either good or bad. I promise not to come after you with a spatula, either way.

When you're finished, post this little paragraph on your blog and be surprised (or mortified) about what people remember about you.

Also: I forgot yesterday to sya anything about Green MP Rod Donald's death, but I am saddened by the loss a man genuinely sincere about caring for the environment and the people who live in it, and changing the way New Zealanders treat the country. :(

I remember mostly chats with you, a couple years back in the YW forums.
Once you were cooking squash, I think, for dinner. It was late for me, around midnight, so my room was cold and dark with my laptop gleaming harshly, but I kept thinking--I'm talking to somebody who's sitting in the afternoon sunlight, making dinner. I still remember that time as if I were the one waiting for the vegetables to finish cooking. I don't know why.
I remember the one picture I ever saw of you, much younger. You sent the link, pointed yourself out, and instantly regretted it.
I remember you were so kind to me when I knew nothing (or at least much more nothing than I do now) and called me friend at a time in my life when I badly needed someone to.

Huh. I guess that technically counts as more than one memory, but all that's sort of mixed up in the back of my head when I think of you.

Woah- the many.
They're all YW-centric (I wonder why....)
I think the coolest one was when I realized that I had my first totally online friend, and how utterly awesome that was. (That, and how totally cool my new friend was ;D)
I'd say it's a toss up between the above and all the conspiring we did whilst starting the Playroom. "As long as no money changes hands"....hee.

Rod Donald rocked.

I remember listening to you play your viola beautifully at your last Christmas do. And then making you believe that I had been playing cello for 8 years without telling anyone. Shut up. I'm not a loser. Fine. Humph.

I'm not sure what to write... I remember your rants in kiwi_ljs, I remember your poetry (which you should really post more of), I remember your icons, I remember the postcard you sent me, and I hope we'll get to meet you sometime this summer!

Oooh. That rather odd time when we met up in Wellington. It would have been more fun if not for my pedantic know-it-all ex :-p

I remember being delighted to find that [livejournal.com profile] labellementeuse was the Tui whose comments I'd always enjoyed reading on the YW forums years before.

Hmmm... one of the first times (if not the first time) we chatted on msn you drew me cool spiral Crowley and later on you expanded it to the the coolest, epic Good Omens story. It rocked greatly :D

PS Did you know there's a new Tamora Pierce book?!! AND they don't have it Dannevegas yet? *sobs*

I remember seeing you for the first time-wandering down the corridor with your nose in Terry Pratchett's "Mort" and not bumping into anyone...and developing one of my first girl crushes, lol...

Hmm, well, I was certain throughout the ling exam (which, by the way, kicked my arse...you?) that you were sitting in front of me. Turns out you weren't, but I figure it's still a memory involving you. :D

I remember seeing you at that Katherine Mansfield birthplace english thing around this time last year... I didn't know who you were then of course. And how it was strange (when I met you on here) how you'd done fencing, were friends with Lucy etc yet I'd never come across you.

I remember lots of things dating back three years.

Like me adoring you and Rysade as a thirteen year old and thinking you were OMG SOOO SMART.

And random chats.

And the random fights in YW.Net

And roleplay there. xD.
