Oct. 25th, 2009 01:24 amSo I wasn't all caught up on glee and then everyone on my flist started talking about Rachel/Puck and I was like huh? And then I read some stuff and then I got caught up on the last three episodes and OK, you got me, I'm a believer.
Other things I enjoyed about the last three episodes: the one where they're all singing about holding on and holding hands and Quinn tears up and they're all super-supportive - actually the whole "Quinn gets Real Friends" storyline. I like it. I think I like Quinn. I'd read Rachel/Quinn too, so someone should get on that. Relatedly, the one where they're all hanging out and singing! For fun! (And they picked Ride Wit' Me! Which was getting old when I was in high school! But whatever!) (also, this is why I gotta learn guitar, because when my brothers who play guitar are around my family does this kind of thing, and when not, we don't.)
The bits where people who were not Rachel and Finn sang! Sweet Caroline was excellent. I liked the bit in the boys' song where Artie got to sing too, although I am not always too hot on Artie's choreography. Also, Mercedes should sing more often, and I think that's the lesson Mr. Schu should have taken from Sue's little division exercise: stop having Rachel and Finn sing every Glee song together. Apart from anything else it totally contradicts the show's sort of inclusive message.

Date: 2009-10-27 04:18 am (UTC)I keep starting to learn guitar and then going long stretches without practising, which just means that I have to start all over again the next time. I will LEARN. EVENTUALLY.

Date: 2009-11-01 07:40 am (UTC)Yeah, I am completely on board with this. I guess I just constantly have a cringe factor about Artie because he is a TREMENDOUSLY visible minority and we still don't have much of a sense of his personality other than "wheelchair boy", so ALL his choreography annoys me as I feel like it's kind of making a spectacle of his disability? Yeah. We'll see in Wheels, I guess!
I kind of want an episode that is solely about Mercedes and Kurt having fabulous BFF adventures.
Ditto, although I want Tina to come too b/c I saw an interview with Jenna and Amber and they had a terrific mutual vibe.
