Sometimes I find myself trying to explain to people what my family's like.

then my brother did it for me at rewihendrix:

Tui, Rodrigo and dad are back from the south island so we have a full house again. We also have and elderly couple staying with us. I have no idea why. They seem pretty nice though so i don't mind.

Guests? Every day. Exchange students? For a year. two random people I don't know why they're really in our house but they told us they were here till tuesday and now they're here till thursday taking up enough room that although we usually have one person per room Freya and Tui are in Hedley's room, Hedley's in with me, oh yeah and we only have access to one bathroom because they have the ensuite & we're renovating and di I mention we have no HEAT? hey, it's all good.

God I love my family. i want to be just like us when I grow up. :D

WRITTEN. I SWEAR TO GOD. AndI finished it in Wanaka, too! So, like, exciting writing-locale! All I have to do now is stamp and mail it but, like, it would be kind of tacky to do that from Wellington, don't you think?????

I TOTALLY went in on Monday to see you and you weren't there...! Said hi to the G-master & glimpsed the C-lady, but NO tania. What's up with that, huh, huh?

I was totally slacking off. If the meaning of 'slacking off' has suddenly been changed to 'sitting in a room for 8 hours supposedly learning about liquor laws but actually staring at the hot guy from Readings Cinemas next to you'.

So...yeah, actually, I was slacking off. But in a work-related sort of way.
