Look at your LJ "interests" list. If you have fewer than 50 interests, pick every fifth one. If you have between fifty and seventy-five interests, pick every seventh one. If you have over seventy-five interests, pick every tenth one. If you have fewer than ten, pick all of 'em. List them on your LJ, and tell everyone exactly what it is about these things that interests you so much.
beethoven- Uhm, well, I like Beethoven? I defy you to listen to Beethoven's Ningth symphony and not like Beethoven. Also I play violin and viola and Beethoven's kind of fun to play, especially in an orchestra.
crowded house- I don't listen to all that much crowded house, but they are or were a very cool old new zealand band. Also their best song Don't Dream It's over got an AWFUL remake by Sixpence None The Richer recently, and I wanted to show solidarity.
elemeno p Another NZ band. They're kind of shit pop/rock but I love them. Especially Verona, Fast Times in Tahoe and Urban Getaway, but everything else too. :D

music Why is it skipping over all my interesting interests, like "discworld-as-a-way-of-life" and "emily/tommy"? *complains*
otto chriek- totally AWESOME vampire photographer from The truth by Terry pratchett. Speaking of Discworld. ;)
rhythm of the saints- a very cool but underplayed album by Paul Simon. I SWEAR I am interested in things other than music.
simon and garfunkel WTF, MEME? You just skipped over "rareshipping" (Nita/Kit, Tom/Carl, Bruno/Boots, Tommy/Emily etc) and "sax and violas" (a kind of bad pun originating with the excellent Peter Murray)! Fool!
terry pratchett Dude. Meme. You SUCK. Okay, I'm doing an "alternate interest" for this one, too: I am interested in "subtext" because I'm a slasher, and also? if you rearrange subtext, you get buttsex, which is FUNNY because it's like the subtext of subtext. :P there's an icon out there somewhere that illustrates this nicely.
the viola this is getting ridiculous. I play the viola. Also in ther was "the drysdale overture" which is actually RELATED to this: the drysdale overture is a very famous (IN NZ. :P) and beautiful overture by NZ composer Douglas Lilburn. It's related because it has a fucking AWESOME viola solo in there.
violins I also play the violin. MEME, I HATE YOU. WHAT? in there was "tommy/emily", which is this cute ship from the Boggart books by Susan Cooper (of The Dark is Rising fame.) They are ADORABLE and no-one's ever written a fic about them, which breaks my heart but what can I do?
zed another new zealand band. This skipped "working at starmart" which I am interested in- kind of- because I did it last summer and will do it again this summer. It is a specialised kind of hell and I enjoyed it. :P
