Congrats on your win. Tui's rock. I used to like the Bellbird best, but then while camping in Thames we came across one that had somehow learnt the sound a cell phone makes when the battery is going flat and I swear to God this bird was nocturnal. Kea's are awesome though.

Actually, tuis will do that as well- I have a friend who lives in Eastbourne in Wellington and apparently there's a tui there which has actually learnt the sound of telephones, and will imitate left and right, making everyone jump for the phone... ! Crazy birds. :D

I believe so... I know there was a big enough gap between Drive and Beautiful Collisions that all the critics were commenting on it, yeah. And BC only came out in 2003, I think, so that's definitely a difference.

Hurray!!!! There were three tuis in our neighbour's tree the other day. I thought of you ;) There are getting more and more of them in Karori, it's nice. They're pretty.

Seriously, one of the music camps I went to put "voila" in the program instead of "viola". It was kind of awful, but kind of hilarious.
