Also known as Is Justified True Belief Knowledge?, this is a fairly recent article upon which Edmund Gettier has, according to my philosophy tutor, pretty much based his entire career. It's not even that long, but it is a very good challenge to the basic philosophical definition of knowledge as "justified true belief." He doesn't attempt to change that, just gives a couple of counterexamples now known as "Gettier Cases".
Anyway, it's kind of funny, and the point is I wanted to read this when we studied him and hey! Now I can, without even needing to go to the library!
