...I have no more appropriate Runaways icons, so I comment with a totally inappropriate one. Molly's making sad faces behind the insane-o happy grin, I promise.
But whoah. I don't wanna see her go (and much as I hate to admit it, "Dead Means Dead" is rather disturbingly final)! I want her to grow up and be Heroine and lead the Avengers and DAMN YOU BKV, you're almost as bad as Joss.
(hah, yeah, I'm sort of considering ditching this one for something APPROPRIATELY ANGST-RIDDEN but I'll leave it a few days because I don't want to accidentally spoil people. But omg woe)
I so, so didn't want it to be her (or Chase. It was looking pretty bad for Chase in there for awhile) but I was *sure* it wasn't going to be because.. damn. Gert? Really, Gert?
I guess it's pretty final that Vic is non-evil now, anyway. So I suppose that's a plus. But, god, Gert deserved to grow up to be competent and have some of her faith restored and be sarcastic and bitchy and a superhero, dammit!
omg I know. That was nearly as bad as Tara's "I love you! *dies" :-/
I guess we should've figured that he'd pull one over on us. It couldn't be Nico-- dude, this solves the "where are Gert and Chase!" thing with the YA/Runaways Civil War covers. Gert's dead and Chase took off. :(
I am really really happy that Vic isn't evil because I like him a lot and even though I was sniffing because GERT GOT WASH'ED (sudden pointy thing in the chest and all) that hug between him and Molly is about the most adorable thing ever.
I'm not up enough on Marvel to follow Civil War (although I do wanna read the X-over, because, hey, gay teenage aliens are awesome) but. gah. Man. Chase! Don't leave them! They need you to WAVE YOUR KNIFE MENACINGLY (also, dude, I love the YA team but they're not the most heavily down to earth bunch of kids ever, and without Gert and Chase, well, nor are the Runaways. :-/ Man, Gert was so much the heart of the team... I mean, it *seems* to be Karolina, but actually I believe it was Gert, because she's the one who gives them their mission statement and their purpose and and and wah.)
I like Vic a lot, too. *emphatic nod*
... damn, why couldn't it just have been Nico? She would have been HAPPY to die for the cause! omg I'm sorry Nico. I love you really. Just not as *much*.
