Dec. 13th, 2003 05:24 pmSoo, my first LiveJournal entry... if I was a smart chick and had lots of spare time, I would keep this for a particularly momentous and important meditation on Life, the Universe, and Everything.
Meh. I'm obviously not smart, because I have loads of spare time just now. Nevertheless, I will try to have at least some content. But first, introductions.
Hi. *waves* I'm Tui, and here I'm going by the name of La Belle Menteuse, which, for the non-francophiles about, means beautiful liar. You can draw whatever conclusions from that you want to, but none of them would be especially accurate: I just like the name, and also the language. All my likes and dislikes can be found in my bio, but in a nutshell: I like music. I like reading. I like life, for the most part. I dislike poor spelling. And netspeak. And not too much else, really- oh, Tories, I detest Tories. (A note: I'm not rabid about this. One of my best friends is a dyed-in-the-wool Tory, and the other can't spell to save herself.)
Anyway. Purposes for LiveJournal? I like to talk, about lots of things, including myself. A blog is handy for that purpose. Furthermore, I read a lot of fanfic and enjoy talking about it, etc. LJ has a bunch of communities that have a lot of interesting stuff on them, and I would like to participate in them too... participation is the rule!
