Yes, I've been home for a while, but first the internet was broken and then Dad took the computer off us, so I haven't had a chance to gt on for a while. Camp was TOTALLY FANTASTIC <3333333333333 and I learnt SO MUCh. Wow.
I got told this horror story (actually, she meant it to be encouraging. Hah) about some girl who was in Book six when she was around 14. Now, this girl was (like me) pretty slack with her practice; she was busy often, and always had some excuse (school, exams, production) for not doing violin practice every day. Then she went to a camp in Japan with Kim (this is the tutor telling the story) and had a great time, playing in groups with other people at her level.
...Except... all the people her level were eight, and the people her age were playing the Mozart Concerto, which is think is book 9. So when she got home, she was so determined to get to that level that she went from Book 6 to Book 9 in a year.
... I don't know. I'll try to finish book 7. Okay?
Anyway, I have to go catch up on you all (*sweats* I'm not even going to bother with the f-list, I'll do it journal by journal...) so I'll leave you now. ;)
