... quite a lot, right now.
So to pass Astrophysics, I have to pass this Academic Writing Assessment test. If I don't pass the test, I have to take some writing course just to prove to the university that I can write an essay on a debateable topic of their choice. Apparently sitting and passing English and History, getting two excellences and two merits in History, and actually passing Scholarship English, well, it was all a fluke, obviously. *deep breaths*
So, this doesn't bother me too much, okay, because everyone who's taking Astrophysics, Physics and I think even Engineering has to pass this thing. So that's fine, kinda. What is not fine, though, is that they schedule the test for two days- today and yesterday at 5 pm. Yesterday I have a lecture; that's fine, I can sit it today, right? WRONG, because despite leaving twenty minutes early I can't find the lecture theatre- turns out it was in S1, not C1- and I walk around the university for half an hour and then, desperately, go to the Information office and ring the call centre. NOBODY has any idea when or where the fucking thing is, so a twenty-five past five I go back to the Hall to check my diary and see if I've maybe got the wrong dates, or whatever. Nope, it's today, and I get the right lectuer theatre from my diary where I wrote it down.
Now, okay, I should have brought my diary with me, even though I thought I knew where it was. Fine. But fuck, the fact that even after being there twenty minutes early and checking EVERYWHERE (except the right place) and I STILL couldn't fine it, the office couldn't fine it, there was just no way to find it AT ALL- does that not seem a bit of a fucking drag?
*sigh* I found it, and asked the guy if I could sit it, and apparently they had no spare papers and I wouldn't have time to finish it anyway. *tired* I should have asked how long it was- I had twenty-five minutes left and, let's face it, if Physics students can write it in an hour I can do it in twenty-five minutes. But I couldn't, and if I don't pass this I can't pass the course, and I think to pass it I now have to take some WASS course. Which, if they think I'm going to take a remedial English course, they have ANOTHER THINK COMING.
OMG this is so stupid.
