Nov. 8th, 2007 02:28 pmWHY are all the good english and philosophy papers in Semester One? Especially English - guess what the english department is offering at 300 level in S2 next year? Post-colonial literature and New Zealand literature (and prose fiction writing with Owen Marshall which I a) don't wanna do b)wouldn't get into even though c) it is reportedly amazing.) Why not just STAB MYSELF IN THE EYE WITH THE SPORK OF EMPIRE? God.
As for the philosophy department - why are you scheduling Political Philosophy to clash with cultures of the supernatural, the English paper I HAVE to take? WHY? WHY WHY WHY WHY WHY? Why? Why do I have to pick between a paper called Social Justice and a paper that will make me read Coraline and write about Buffy?
