who feel that life is a joke, but oh

Aaaaaaaaaaaaaah KARA thank fucking god. I was seriously considering dropping the show if she was really gone, because by that stage she was the only thing I was really watching for - and Roslin on occasion.
I watched 3x19 and 3x20 this morning, so I didn't have the whole wondering what the music meant thing, but I will say that it was fairly transparent - and also, by his first reaction to Anders I'm pretty sure the Chief knew either from the beginning, or has known for longer than the others. Maybe he just figured out the music earlier, who knows. ETA: and I just re-watched the scene where they all realised, and the Chief: kind of stands still and looks around, Saul: is drunk, Anders: staggers around clutching his head, Tori/y(?): vomits. Saul is always drunk, the Chief? Did not seem exactly shocked. Also, he's the only one we don't see staggering down a corridor. (Also, how cool in retrospect is Boomer/Chief?)
And I hate to say it, but it looks like Kara might be the last Cylon model. All four of them together and then a fifth person shows up out of nowhere?
I was, however, thrilled by the four's decision to go do their jobs and fight for the fleet and the Galactica. I think that was the right decision if you're going to go with them not being programmed. They love the ship and they should do what's in character for them.
in re: all along the watchtower, I actually filled in "said the joker to the thief" the first time Saul said "there must be some kind of way out of here", so you know, I get bonus Hendrix points. OTOH I don't know the Dylan version at all so I didn't recognise it much. :P I'm genuinely puzzled by the show's decision to finally include Earth music though; I kind of thought part of the point was that... I don't know. I would kind of like an explanation for how Bob Dylan's lyrical genius is related to the Final Five, but that might be... a little silly... still. Actually the more I think about it the more puzzled and frustrated I get, and I really liked it in the moment, so I'll stop talking about it now.
the more I think about that scene with the final four the more I think about how telling it is that the Chief... didn't really do much. I actually love the Chief a lot - he's a unionist. We like unionists here - and I was wanting him to take more of a take-charge role, and I still don't really see that Saul was a better choice for that than him. It would sound a lot better coming from someone who's been so human - who's fought to make his marriage work (so unusual on TV) and who's fought for the ship and who's retained some basic characteristics and... well.
Lastly: Oh, kara, is's so good to see you, but where is your asskicking attitude?
Overall verdict, though: AWESOME.
