That's how they're setting up the spinoff? GEORGE is seriously leaving the show? God, that is SO AWESOME. :D I mean, I think the set-up's a little lame, but the things that have made me throw things at the screen the most this season are Izzy/George (because motherfuck, sometimes marital fidelity is possible! Sometimes people don't want to sleep with their best friends! And most of all, neither George nor Izzy would be party to that shit!) and Alex/Addison (because so SICK of people sleeping with their bosses on this fucking show) so it's totally defusing that.

OTOH, I love love LOVED the Alex-Addison student/teacher relationship and Alex slowly drifting more and more into gyno and I really hope they don't drop that, so.

In other news, should I dl the version of Folsom Prison Blues with two minutes in audio only or should I wait? Man, it's a week of dilemmas.

Heh, I'm about to go back and watch the first half of the show this summer, and I almost don't want to because I love Alex and his character arc so so much this season and it's almost going to be painful watching him be a total ass. Oh well.

Also, they really enjoyed using Ava's line to do some serious meta, didn't they?

Yeah, I nearly forgot Alex used to be a total dropkick, but I loved the Alex/Izzy arc a lot. In fact, Alex/Izzy would probably be my OTP for this show. *loves on*
