- Today it was so cold the water in the car wash at work froze in the pipes and it wouldn't run. It was so cold there were still patches of frost on the ground at six pm. It was so cold I thought I might freeze solid working to work at 6:50 am and it's so cold right now my flatmate is sitting on our couch in our living room (warmest room in the house) wrapped in a blanket in a beanie and two pairs of woolly socks. I'm sitting here still wearing my work pants and my ski jacket, utilising the famous "headphones technique" so I can watch SGA while she watches the Simpsons (highly complext technique involving turning my sound up really really high.)

We're just so... ghetto.

- Kinda want the definitive Mockers CD.

- Oh, and by the way: I'm off to Wellington tomorrow for a week, which I think everyone who needs to know knows already, but just in case. I'm catching the train and then the ferry with sixht_light and lady_larla, there'll probably be a homicide since we'll be together from half past six in the morning to five in the evening, and can anyone suggest some good three-person cardgames? We already know P&A. Alternatively, a couple really good novel-length fics I can print off and read on the ferry?

OK, really gotta pack and clean now...
