Dear internets,

Oh, how I am missing you! We're in the throes of switching ISPs and for various reasons the old one went off before the new one came on. Went off on Monday and I have *no idea* when it's coming back, and oh, by the way, Battlestar Galactica started again tonight! WORST. TIMING. EVER. I plan to use the time to rewatch Season 3, which I kind of haven't managed to do in the last few months, but am looking forward to.

Can't wait til Monday's over, since this has been hell week - 50% essay due last tuesday, 25% essay due last thursday, and 50% essay that I have *no idea* about due Monday. I mean, I have no fucking clue what it's about and I think I have to read a couple of books by Descartes and Locke - not the most lucid or modern writers, to put it bluntly. The stuff I'm writing about is really difficult material, as well, not the crap about scepticism and politics (respectively) but about the... shit, I can't even describe it in writing, which I'm really going to have to work on before *tomorrow*. Anyway, it's about the relationship between our sensory experience and our thoughts/mind/ideation and mentation. Fortunately it's only 2000 words and I get a second chance at the credit later in the semester, but I would really like to do well in this one. because the course will probably just get harder. :-/

I hope really exciting and joyful stuff is happening in all of y'all's lives, but I haven't been managing to keep up with the flist. I miss you. But don't damn spoil me for BSG (or Torchwood!) or I'll have to cut a bitch!

Oh my god, are you reading Locke's Essay Concerning Human Understanding? I am so sorry. But I do have a good guide to it, about twenty pages or so, that our professor gave us.

!! YES I AM. It sucketh majorly. and Descartes' meditations, which aren't actually that difficult, but since the essay is compare and contrast, you have to understand one to get the other, sigh!
