I don't know what it is about Sunday nights but, man, I feel really down. Nothing's gone right for me today: my Yuletide ain't going right which is becoming extremely urgent, I was supposed to move home today but didn't because I was staring at a Word document hoping words would magically appear there (they didn't) and in the end it would have been more productive to have moved. Then in the afternoon I decided to try to cook. I have all these eggs cos I bought a tray last week & I wanted to use them up but we're out of flour so I couldn't make the stuff I usually would. I had eggs for lunch & then I thought I'd make meringues. I am crap at meringues so this was a bad idea. I always take them out too early so I thought, OK, this time I just WON'T LOOK AT THEM I'll leave them for exactly the time ... so they burned of course. Then with the yolks I tried to make hollandaise because hey I'm having a brunch tomorrow and I hear hollandaise is good for brunches. It was perfectly thick and creamy through the whole thing, tasted completely delicious, and then I poured it into another bowl and it separated and went gross. So now I have no food except lots of eggs, no hollandaise, burnt meringues, and it's raining so I can't go out and get food not that I have money to do so anyway. And I have no clean clothes and I'm seeing people tomorrow and I don't want to be wearing dirty clothes. And my room's a bombsite.

The long and the short of it is: Fuck Sunday. I'm going to make egg fried rice and hope I don't fuck that up.
