This is what I did today:
Got up. Showered, dressed, emptied the dishwasher and set the table, ate breakfast. Did some Calculus study. Went to my Calculus exam, and did badly; I didn't study enough, or all the wrong thoings. Came out feeling terrible. Went home. Had lunch. Baked my mother a cake. Did some French study. Removed cake from oven and cooled it. Checked my LJ, did some French study, sliced iced and syruped my mother's cake. Cleared and cleaned kitchen, and loaded the dishwasher. Played Spider Solitaire. Took phone calls. Cooked dinner (processed plastic pasta, cream of chemical sauce, and a salad.) Set table. Ate dinner with my father and, when she deigned to come down from her computer, my mother. Cleared away dishes, stacked them on the bench, washed them all by hand because the dishwasher was still on. Helped my mother peel and slice carrots for her book club. Emptied the compost, cleaned the kitchen thoroughly, including the dishes my mother had made. Sat down at the computer.
Now, I'm not trying to complain about the eight times I've cleaned the kitchen today, or anything. I really don't mind. But I don't think that could really be classified as a lazy day, am I right? yet when, after all that, i sit don at the computer to play a game, my mother just CAN'T KEEP HER MOuTH SHUT. hell no. She starts in about study, study, study (my exam tomorow isn't till the afternoon, it's French, there's nothing TO do) and how I've done nothing but play on the computer all day, and didn't do anything but play on the computer yesterday (as if she would even know),and how mocks are important for dux, and how the school hasinvested $25 000 in me (scholarship student, remember?) and...

Look, it's not like she's not RIGHT. Fine, whatever, I SHOULD study more. But I HAVEstudied today and I DID study yesterday and as for being on the computer all day, I have done nothing but be helpful to her all freaking afternoon and IT'S NOT FAIR and I am so, so sick of it. *KICKS*
Other things that are annoying me, in no order:
1. I can't figure jenni's motives out. o.O
2. That tupid golden egg add. you know, for scratchy tickets- it shows a guy lifting away a hen to find a golden egg, with the slogan "You never know what's underneath." Um, excuse me, a HEN? the little red hen did bread, not golden eggs! it's the goose that laid the golden egg, you moronic advertisers.
3. Michael Laws. Ooh, I detest that man. Actually, he's not so bad at the moment, mostly because I just don't read him any more, but there was an article on columnists in the paper yesterday and he was there and I remembered how much I can't stand him...
4. I made this wonderful cake and I bet I don't get a slice.
5. I'm sure there's something.
Ayway. over that. In cake news, I did slice it into three but not very sucessfully, probably because it turned to be a half and two rather uneven quarters. however, I slathered it in enough icing that you almost certainly couldn't tell, and it looks pretty good. My final error was icing it on the cake stand.*headdesk* and I know not to do that, usually, I just had a serious blank. Durr.
That's all for now, folks.
