FINALLY FINALLY FINALLY BROADBAND IS BACK FOR GOOD AND PROPER AT LAST AT LAST AT LAST!!!!!
Ahhhh, speed!!!!!!!!!
So I finally got the bartok
manic_subbie sent me... you must be thinking me incredibly rude for not thanking you, I was pushing it till the end of the seven days just in case, and look! it paid off! Whee! So THANK YOU. <3333 What would you like in return? :-) I wish I had Zigeunerweisen to give you, but sadly I don't.. hmm...
Also, had Choral Symphony rehearsal Sunday. Was fine, interesting, looking forward to singing it with the Wellington Youth orchestra, 7 November. That's Beethoven's Choral Symphony. I would really really urge you to go, because if the singing's not good I can absolutely guarantee the music will be: WYO rocks the world. <3.
After the rehearsal I went to Michael Monaghan Young Musicians concert... managed the second half, missed the first, which is sad- missed Gemma New... :-( and a couple of interesting pieces as well. Still, I saw Amber Rainey, some pianist I don't know, um, something something... this is terrible, can't remember her name. Someone Lee? Maybe? Kerral? i suck with names. Anyway, they both played different Mozart Piano Concertos rather well, and then I saw James Jin. *_* Tzigane. this crazy crazy crazy amazing violin piece. Wow. And then Blythe Press, excellent as always, Beethoven IIRC Violin Concerto in some key. He really, really needs a haircut, though. Hobbit hair to the max, when he bowed it went just EVERYWHERE. *is slyly amused* He looks a little like Beethoven himself, wild and woolly.... >:D And he's GROWN! Wow. he was really tall.
