oh god. So, I don't mention them much, but Simon & Garfunkel and Simon solo was really the music of most of my teenage years. They're the only music I ever listen to while studying or writing because I know them so well they're almost white noise, and they're so peaceful for me. Well, I nearly died when I had to miss their concert in Auckland because I was, you know, going to England. But OTOH, England! But I'm youtubing today and... apparently they played "Hey, Schoolgirl."

... I LOVE that song and I don't have a copy of it and I would have love love LOVED to see it live and and and and and now I'm having a moment about how they're both ancient and will never come here again. :(

Also, I accidentally deleted the playlist I use for my ipod the other day and I goddamn can't find it again - I didn't delete it from the recycle bin so I have no idea where it's gone and I want it back. grrr.
