I want to make myself a colourbar. Or icon. I realise this is fairly tragic but I had this great idea for one...
Anyway, I have to put in SYWTBAW, Tammy, TDiR, Earthsea... is there any other YA fantasy that I HAVE TO HAVE ON OMG? HP is not under consideration. :P
ETA: Okay, so I have SYWTBAW, Tammy, TDiR, Earthsea, Narnia, HDM and L'Engle, which is seven. Hmm, now I have to find appropriate coloured book covers. And of course get photoshop *eyeroll*

Date: 2005-03-11 05:36 am (UTC)I think they have elements. But no. But I mean, in some ways you're sort of too old for teenage fantasy, kinda... it sorta really kicked off a bit later. There's child fantasy, and adult fantasy, but I think teen fantasy is a very specific genre, relatively recent- like last 20 year- genre. Earthsea might not even fit, but I would leave it in 'cause it's a staple. I probably should have the Hobbit, that said. *shrug*
