OTOH... Oh, I don't know. It might be all the things you sia, but it's not really a bad action. Lazy, maybe.

I think it is a bad action. He set up a situation where people were paying to feel good about saving a life, turning their compassion into a commodity. A luxury good, even. And it meant that he was making money off something that should free.

I guess you could argue that there's nothing wrong with exchange: $$ for him, a rabbit's life for someone else. Both go away happy. The same point is made about prostitution by women who are happy to be sex workers.

Most people would agree that you reach, at some point, something that can't be bought/sold. The tricky part is determining where that point is, huh?
