As some of you may know, my venerable (and I choose that word because it sounds a lot like venereal...) first email account, birdheadnzNOSPAM@hotmail.com, broke approximately eight months ago. I mean it was totally stuffed; the inbox overflowed but I couldn't see anything to delete it (it was getting kind of a lot of spam, as well, because it was just that old.) I couldn't do anything to it, although I could MSN through it, which I continue to do.

I accidentally logged in to that account when I was trying to check my email today and.... it has returned from the dead. This is like a rebirth, I am not kidding: I even have the "Welcome to Hotmail" message in my inbox.

o.O O.o Hotmail, my darling, you totally and utterly suck.

I know. *eyeroll* Someday I'm going to figure out a way to abandon email accounts without losing contact with people, and then I will NEVER USE HOTMAIL AGAIN.

I don't know what it means, but I'd guess that it's to tell you that I'm using web-based rather than computer-based MSN. http://webmessenger.msn.com- because I can't load it on the computers here because I'm not an Administrator. *eyeroll*

I tend to run into you on MSN messenger at insane times like two in the morning or so. . . because I'm crazy and I'm a night owl. . . I have a preference for the night because it's BETTER than the day, by god. . .and I'm not sleepy at night, and I am in the day?

Oh, so it's not just me...
I was a Hotmail bitch for about a year, in which...actually, 'Hotmail bitch' pretty much covers it. ^_^ 'Misplaced' emails aside, it was my first. And that's special.
Then I saw a lot of friends using Hotmail, so I thought--it is just me. So I got a Yahoo address, which functions adequately. Score one for me.

yeah. . . I think that it's because your account 'dies' if you don;t check it every month/three months or something, but you can bring it back to life and start over by logging in because they keep your email address for a year or something weird like that.

I was in hotmail too. Then I switched to gmail because hotmail is banned at school.

I still use my old hotmail address for MSN, so I can keep in contact with other people; my new hotmail address for ljcomments and... actually, that's about it, lj comments; my gmail for friends and family; and my university account for, well, university shit.
