Yeah. Below the cut.

So. Um, a couple of things.
-I ended up watching it at 9:15 in [livejournal.com profile] thinkaholic's room, where he was basically very nice and understanding and let me hug the pillow in lieu of [livejournal.com profile] sixth_light, whose hand I usually break in the Death Grip of Me Watching Action. And *glum* I think I sort of have to like him now. This may be a topic for a later post, or possibly I will forget about it, but we had a very long conversation about my attitude to him, and to him and [livejournal.com profile] sixth_light, and it was very interesting.

-to the actual episode: Um. Very Thrilling!! Polar Bear! Doomradar Dog! (He barks when Doom Approaches. hehe. not my joke.) Walt-the-majik! Which I already knew but I was actually really surprised to have it pointed out so clearly in the episode, mostly because I thought it was part of the Island Mystery and apparently it's not so. That was strange.

Charlie reading the diary: had a brief dialogue with Mike about it and came to the conclusion I would do exactly the same thing, with probably the same or fewer qualms. I think this is because I have never kept a proper, personal journal, preferring to thrash things out inside my head, so I don't really understand the feelings of violation that I believe can result from the action of reading someone else's diary.

Claire at the end: Um. OMG. OMG. I actually jumped around the room SCREAMING OH MY GOD. :p I think this is because I watched it with no ad breaks, and I never had a break in the tension.

Re: Michael the artist: cool. And sad. :( I really felt for him. Also when he told Walt that Bryan really loved him and would see him lots? My heart broke. I have never thought better of Michael and I may never again. What a moment. AND THE CARDS OMG SO ADORABLE.

Re: Boone: still hot. Still homosexual and fixated on Locke. "The man said calm down!" Um, ookay, honey. Time foe those troublesome meds again...

ETA: Apparently, in the US, they had two weeks of re-runs after this before 115.

You know? Sometimes, it's good to be here. :P

Just watched it yesterday and OMG. I loved this episode because it really pointed out how things can make total sense from the PoVs of different people and still oppose. But Walt's mum? Stone-cold bitch. Worse. A lawyer.

And I don't trust Locke. At ALL. I mean, he's nice, but he just...warning bells ringing here. (Besides, he was in Claire's dream. Along with Teh Evil Black Rock.)

Glad you are getting on with Mike. He is really very nice.

Look, I didn't mind her that much. But I think that what she did, her actions, they were fucked. I think they were motivated by a basic desire for her son to have what was best for him- but the question that pointed out what the fundamental flaw in her attitude was this:
"Why are you holding on? For you, or for him?"
Because it implied that Walt was absolutely totally more important the Michael. I mean, Mercutio's a person too, right? He has rights! He deserves not to get his heart broken! :O!

Hmm, Locke? I don't know. I'm in two minds. Um.

yeswell.
