Stuff that happened to me today:

-I woke up early, which is fine, and I went back to sleep, which is also fine. But in the 40 minutes of extra sleep I had, I somehow managed to have a rather lengthy dream in which I was Harry Potter and I and the Weasleys were hiding in my room from the Inquisition (like, a mix of Umbridge and the Death Eaters? Great name for a badn, BTW) - like in those books about WWII about Jews hiding from the Nazis? Yeah, I dunno, man- and the entire Weasley family was hiding in my closet (this is how you can tell it was a dream, 'cos my closet is damn tiny) and then I was trying to lock the door and it wouldn't lock but then I figured out that someone would have to be sacrificed so the people wouldn't break down the door and search the room and find everyone- like, if someone opened the door straight away they wouldn't suspect anything, you know? And there was someone screaming in the room next door. And then I woke up.

This is only remarkable because I remembered it, and I never remember my dreams, or maybe I just don't dream at all. So, yeah. My subconscious may possibly have issues.

-Saw Kingdom of Heaven with memoirs_! The movie=not too fantastic, the company=great! Haven't seen her, obviously, since the end of school last year, so that was pretty neat. :)

-I ate a lot of junk food. Also, I fenced. I now have another bruise but much smaller. Also I totally scored a few hits, and they weren't totally random ones! So, yeah, yay. :)

That Is All. I am going to eat junk food and see if the listener has arrived yet, because I'm tired and sad that way.

PS: cool! and more cool! the www.narniaweb.com galleries are very fantastic. I recommend going to View By Category, then LWW, an checking out Production Shots and Concept Art and screencaps from the trailer. *bouncy* some cool bgs in there, too. I wanna make icoooons.

Yep, I've been fencing at Hutt Valley Fencing Club for about five and a half years or something, though I haven't been for ages. I used to be quite good too. Not now though. That's what happens if you slack off for six months.

Oh, hey, HV? I used to fence in Wellington a LONG time ago, like four years or something ;) But my best mate fenced with the other Wellington club until we moved here, and I know she used to fence with or against Hutt for some stuff... :P Creepy!

Huh. Really? Maybe I would've, if I'd been in the right mood, but... I don't know, I thought it dragged a lot in places, although some bits were extremely cool. But a lot of the beginning was sort of... dull.

Reindeer. It's supposed to be reindeer, I think, or whatever they get at the north pole. NOT polar bears. :O!!

They wanted to bring reindeer into NZ for the filming, but weren't allowed.
Maybe they gave up and used polar bears for that reason.

Oh. Hmm. Really? *slightly amused* On the other hand, they were allowed to bring in polar bears? Or are they just easier to CGI?

And they did film other places, too, somewhere (I think) with a crazy eastern European sounding name. So sounds like a cop out to me. :P

I'm not sure it's reindeer, because in the book it specifically states that SC's sled was pulled by creatures much different from the white witch's. I believe they were white stags.
I can't find the book, though.
