I should point out that should you offer me twice the amount of my student loans in return for removing my education from my brain, I would not hesitate to say no.

So in a way I rather feel I've beaten the system, cos they've got sixty thousand dollars but they haven't got my brain.

I'm not sure how much that'd make me feel if I was in his position (fjhdsfhf $62K, US.) but... it bears remembering. ;) I haven't even got through my first undergrad year and I'm already panicking about money. :P

$62k US? That's enough to buy a house...poor guy! Don't worry about money though...there are more important things to worry about! Just remember they don't charge interest until you leave university, so become an eternal student until you win the lottery :D ...maybe that's not realistic...

I've just found out I have round about a year's tuition in the bank. So that's $4000 less I need to worry about, but I'll probably still need a loan :(
