Still obsessive about my new fandom -Gorillaz :D How embarrassing. I wish the fandom was bigger; there is not nearly enough porn. I have been spoiled by the HP fandom -which is beyond giant.
I hate it when that happens, don't you? HP fandom is like this big warm wanky playground with fic in every rating, flavour- and quality. Then you venture outside it, and it's like :O! Where's my high-quality porn? :O
I really, really like to bead jewelry. Beads are a great joy for me. But I get stressed out when shopping for beads because I worry that I'll choose the wrong ones, the colors will get messed up, and disaster will happen.
*g* I like beading occasionally- it's a good present for younger sisters- but I panic more because I'm never convinced that I'm artistic enough, or something. :P
I have at last count at least 10 nicknames...every single person I know comes up with something else to call me....I know my name is hard to say but its borderline ridiculious now! Ihere are only two I really like - interestingly enough..only my sister will call me thoose...
*grinning* He pines for you? Oh, that's a story I didn't hear! (Actually, what's happening to his chicky Ariana or something? She still in the picture? :P)
I have a strange, Platonic fetish for hands and feet. Not sure whether this is because I wanted to be able to draw them, or vice versa... but yeah :D
And I can sing a famous Chinese children's song called "xiao yenzi" in the second-highest octave on the piano or somesuch, and it really annoys people on buses during band trips :D Especially since it's got such an obnoxiously generic pentatonic melody :D
I learned to tie flies when I was eleven. The hobby withered due to lack of space to spread out all the equipment, but I was enthusiastic about it to the extent that I made my family stop the car on holiday so I could get feathers off pukeko roadkill (the only legal way to acquire them.) Oddly enough, I hate fly-fishing. My father is the enthusiast; my proudest moment was when he caught a trout using a fly I invented.
Wait, this applies to every first-gen ChineseCanadian/American! /New Zealander/Australia/UKer/ad nauseam ;)
I wasn't allowed Coke. Ever. My mother refers to it as the Black Death but I think she actually thinks it's done more damage to society, cumulatively, than the Plague ever did. ;)
I was going to say megaffe's mother, just to be annoying, but I think she's only had it for, um... since Meg was three-ish or something, so somewhere between 13 and 20 years. On the other hand, M's brother has had ME since he was 15. When he gets to be your age he'll have had ME for... a long time. :-/ it makes me worry very much about Meggie sometimes.
