So. Guess what I just read?

And the first two guesses don't count, unless you're...
... well, unless you're not [livejournal.com profile] allasomething or [livejournal.com profile] bad_mushroom or [livejournal.com profile] chattycheese or [livejournal.com profile] dragonwire (look abcd!) or [livejournal.com profile] kitsunerei88 or [livejournal.com profile] deutscheami or [livejournal.com profile] mikonhana or well, I think that's enough of a sample group to make it clear which book I am referring to.

Yeah.

I want to do a nice spoilerific review, but basically: all I got is SQUEEEEEEEEEEEE, with a side order of "holy mother of Dog I need Mars now." Coherency may follow at some other point... :P

Also: Tonight is Guy Fawkes! We are going to go to th beach to watch fireworks, and then go out on town. I am Well Pleased with this plan.

holy mother of Dog indeed.... Coherency be damned, it's always nice to revel in the utter squee-ish-ness of finally reading a new book.

According to DD, AWOM should be out next October, as she's looking forward to getting back on the one-a-year track again. Whoo!

*snicker* Wasn't that AWFUL? I laughed so hard. (Although at the end! With Kit! And with the sadness!!! *is trying to be cryptic for the unspoiled*

Actually, I read that in a transcript somewhere... I am fairly stoked about it, as you can imagine. (Eep, we should be getting an excerpt soonish, then! Maybe early next year!)

And the thing that's....that's....that's missing. *absolutely cannot wait for the book which will come after AWOM, in which the thing that is currently not where it should be will be searched for (apparantly)*

Although I am definitely not printing out the entire excerpt again. No matter how much I want to read it. It will eventually become not worth having, and then what do do with all the paper?
