So my mother's visiting this weekend...

Things Done Today (in no order):
-finished S1 of Friends
-began torrenting S2
-finished d/ling this week's Bones and Lost which I missed last night
-invited sixth_light's boyfriend over for dinner. Don't worry, the world's not ending (he and I don't always get on); but he's lending us his vacuum cleaner so feeding him is the least I can do. Also, if I'm cooking for someone else I know I'll cook properly.
-ate a healthy lunch! Raw tomatoes, onion, and grated cheese chopped over plain pasta. (I prefer spring onion intead of onions, and brown rice instead of pasta, but we had neither of these things.)
-made a stew which is now sitting in the oven. It might be quite nice or quite awful, who know.,
-Scrubbed the bat and cleaned the bathroom
-Scrubbed out sink, microwave and fridge; threw out old food
-tidied the cupboards (a little.)
-did megaloads of dishes
-watched lady_larla tidy lounge; picked flowers & vase to sit on table and look pretty!
-emptied bins, moved garbage to garage
-did a load of laundry, cleaned laundry room
-had a really tremendously wonderful chat to megaffe, which was good for my soul.

Things still to do tonight:
-feed self & Mike
-fold said laundry
-tidy my room
-do dinner dishes, wipe benches, windowsill and stovetop
-sweep and mop kitchen, bathroom, toilet
-bleach toilet
-vacuum carpeted surfaces
-buy milk & council rubbish bags
-watch Commander in Chief (forgot it's not on this week) Lost and Bones
-change sheets (tomorrow morning)

I love the way housework leaves me feeling. I may not have improved anything, but I feel a lot better in my skin.
