I have a stack of books... I'd like to say they're on the bedside table but actually, they're on the floor/in my bag/on top of my bookcase, variously. However, the problem is the same, I just finished Northanger Abbey (LOVED it! And it was New Book #12 so I also feel virtuous) and now I need to decide what I'm going to read next. Help me?

Actually you think I should read...

Best book you read lately?

Take my poll, save me from the tyranny of dragging three books onto the bus with me tomorrow morning?

The Hunger Games! Although, I should warn you that once you start reading it, it is difficult to stop.

Northanger Abbey is fabulous, isn't it?

The nice thing about that is it's a paperback and therefore lighter than e.g. Wolf Hall which is MASSIVE, ugh.

It absolutely is: new favourite Austen, I think. I was completely charmed by it.

Seriously though, I started reading it and then I had to go to the movies so I walked into town reading and sat through the whole movie thinking, 'Wibble wibble Peeta and Katniss wibble'. And then I had to go and buy the sequel the next day.

Northanger Abbey's my favourite Austen usually. It's so wonderfully snarky and fluffy. And I love the female friendships and discussions of reading.
