HAHAHAHAHA. *wipes tears from eyes* Oh, that denouement... best ever. Peter Petrelli: now most incestuous character EVER. This kind of reminds me of those post - No Exit AUs where Jo was a Sekrit Winchester Bastard and Sam/Dean/Jo was a big thing, except, HAHA, this is CANON.

Oh, show. I almost forgive you for making Zach straight, that's how much I loved that.

On the actual content of the episode - I don't actually have much to say. I thought it was straightforward, I enjoyed it very much, that's about it. Although what with [livejournal.com profile] keymash's jdramas and Hiro, I swear I'm recognising a couple of words of Japanese. Like when they bow and say "please"? Heh.

That was a pretty awesome reveal, especially following on the heels of Peter's longing reminiscings re: "that sweet kid in Texas". It would have been cooler if Claude was the daddy, since he's now a former HRG associate, but whatever. I can live with this. Bonus points if we get a "I have THREE younger brothers? NO FAIR!" scene from Claire. Or a custody showdown between Bennet and Nathan. (Speaking of which - I love the way they're turning the question of Bennet's first name into a full-blown comedy routine, i.e., cut-off sentences, the first name not being visible on his driver's license even if you freeze-frame and zoom in. This could be a beautiful and ongoing joke.)

I think my favourite plotline in this episode was Isaac, just because he's so eminently cute now he's gone all enthusiastic and world-saving. I hope we keep getting more of him. I liked both of Clare's mothers, too - Meredith was awesome, and Mrs. Bennet was sweet. The mindwiping scene was creepy.

Um, I read that as being intended to diffuse the sexual tension, because those are all childhood markers, and if he was really lusting after her in that scene it would be CREEPY and UGH. and UGH. and WRONG, and not in the incestuous social taboo way, in the WRONG WRONG WRONG way. (I mean, Claire is nearly 16, I don't have an intrinsic problem with Peter/Claire in that sense, but with those markers? creepy.)

I noticed that! It's frustrating. maybe his first name is... LINDEMAN. heh.

eeeeh. Isaac was okay. He's much better looking right now, that's for sure. I liked Meredith heaps and Mrs Bennet(t?) was really excellent in her scenes.
