Rec! Six of One by
vee_fic. SPN, R. Very long, INCREDIBLE, plotty work, set in the not too distant future. Very, very good. If you're not into confusion, still stick it out past the first part because it does come together and you'll be so glad you did.
sixth_light, try this one, really.
Since daylight savings ended, I no longer know what time it is... boy, wish I were joking right now. It started badly on Sunday - I forgot to change my clock so, instead of waking up at 6 to get to work by 7, I woke up at 5 and got to work at six. I've spent the following days in a haze, because I have clocks on my computer, my alarm clock, my phone and my ipod and none of them are remotely reliable and on monday each of them was reading a different time. I think now they're all the same except the ipod, but it's a close thing. Speaking of, anyone know how to change time on an ipod? can't quite figure it out & it's sort of annoying.
This afternoon I went shopping because my uncle's getting married this sat and the mother offered to buy me an outfit on sat morning, so I have to have something picked out by then. Unfortunately, I spent three hours wandering around the fucking mall only to realise that I have no idea what to wear to a wedding - either this one, because I don't even know if it's formal or informal, inside or outside, or, in fact, any wedding. arrrrrrrgh. I haven't been to a wedding since my other uncle got married when I was like 12, I'm so deranged right now.

Date: 2007-03-21 08:52 pm (UTC)Yay, shopping, but boo, wedding clothing. Maybe google for people's wedding pictures and see what the guests are wearing? (Heh, Google: the ever-trustworthy source for issues on which I'm lost.) Or maybe ask your uncle's wife-to-be for hints, if you know her well enough?

Um, we don't really see that side of the family much, and he lives in another city, and... yeah, I don't really have an excuse, I guess. :P But handily, he's getting married down here, so.
