What is it with guitarists and their inability to play a tune right through? Guy next door has his electric guitar outside, amp right up. This is not the end of the world, but I'd appreciate it a lot more if he could make it through to the end of something. I like Enter Sandman and the Darkness as much as the next girl, but please.

How awesome was Buffy #5? AWESOME.
I was really thrilled that we got a story from one of the other slayers, one of the slayers with those short lifespans we hear so much about - I thought this was a fantastic fleshing-out of what almost seemed like a throwaway line in the first issue about the girls posing as Buffy. Feeling very positive towards it. Also, SUPER excited about the Faith arc coming up. Faith + BKV = win.

on the less awesome side, I freaking HATED TT 48, 49. Cassie's being an idiot and irrational, Rose was the voice of reason - I like Rose, but - and - oh, I'm sure people have written plenty about why these issues SUCKED. NEXT PLZ. I liked what I read of McKeever on Spiderman Loves Mary Jane (like... one issue), so.

I'm pretty sure that at some point today I had something to post about, but then I spent three hours rejigging the Young Wizards Wikipedia page, which still kind of sucks but at least the characters are organised better. (What was there: lists of "major" characters that included Roshaun, Sker'ret and Ronan; lists of "minor" characters that included Carmela and Kkirl. Don't remember Kkirl? That's because there were two sentences on her in Dilemma. Meanwhile, the page was totally missing Fred, Ed, and Peach. So I messed around with it a little.

Most guitarists can't play a tune through because most of them learn it from other people who can barely play it when they're in university residence. ^^

Yeah, and then they waste quite a bit of money buying one. But I happen to know that all guitarists do it, because my brothers, who are very good indeed when they're on their game, have to be bullied into playing something all the way through.

it's cos we learn the interesting parts, and then can't be bothered learning the boring bits. Unless it's a really interesting song like master of puppets, and then we learn it the whole way through.
