Oct. 4th, 2007 10:06 pmOK, first, that's NASTY.
Secondly, at 9:00, tell me I wasn't the only person thinking "It's the Pax!"
Third, god, TOO MUCH YUCKY this episode. D:
Fourth, characters of colour that are hunters! and women! and incompetent, like what, they were going after a demon with one thing of holy water, and then stand around and scream when it all goes south? admittedly south more spectacularly than predictable, but what, like Isaac was going to take a demon down all by himself because Tamara, what, couldn't get into the men's room? wtf? but the show requires this of anyone not Sam, Dean and apparently Bobby, being shortsighted like that.
drano omg. D: D: D:
If Sam, Dean and Bobby packed up and started working together, where's Ellen? Not even a mention? Lame storytelling.
Speaking of which, not a big fan of Bobby this ep. He's always been more laidback than dictatorial - you can tell people what's what without getting all up in their face. Additionally, what's with Bobby the bookboy telling Sam he won't find his answers in books?
OK, chick: nice knife, but what is with your POSING? omg D:
Finally, did I miss something where the YED is all of a sudden Sam & Dean's responsibility? Jake opened the gate, right? right? Or am I forgetting some crucial scene where Sam was all, OK, since I'm evil now, I think we should just... let him get away with it? What?
Dude, Tamara was alive at the end! I so thought she was toast. Good job, show, for letting non-Winchesters live!
Overall? eh. :-/ Not that thrilled, not that destroyed - there was some good stuff (Sam pushing Dean so he could get to the back! CLASSIC.) and some Ew stuff, but mostly... it was kind of yawn stuff? I can't tell if it's because I just haven't been that interested in the show over hiatus or what, but I was kind of so-so on the whole thing. But I'm looking forward to thinking differently as the weeks go by.
