*revelation* Ah-hah! Americans do have Boxing Day! They just call it Black Friday and shift it to after Thanksgiving. I just knew no developed nation could be content without a holiday appointed solely for the torture of people working in retail.

In other news, wireless crapped out on us a few days ago!!! argh, so I am not really around much - skimming the flist whenever I can, but that's it really. :-/

Nonononono, Black Friday cannot possibly compare to Boxing Day! Why, no-one has gifts to refund! It's not a true Retail Day of Torture unless there's a queue about twenty people deep just for people who want refunds on their Christmas gifts and are prepared to argue to the death about whether they should get a full refund despite not having the receipt.

I agree that such holidays are the hallmark of civilised nations, however. :P

Sucks about the wireless. :( I may be driven to actually ring you sometime!
