Just, I am so sick of everything on this show being such a fucking downer. No character ever retaining, not even the moral highground, but not a speck of even middle ground. The Lee/Kara/Anders mess - I don't hate Anders, but I don't understand why they would bother to beat up on Lee and Kara like that. Cally. It seeming like the only couple who is going to have a happy ending are Roslin and Adama - which, fine, I know there are a lot of people who care about that, but I personally would like to see some happiness in a couple in which *one person is not DYING.* Now even Gaeta and Hoshi have issues.

Argh. I want to keep loving this show for the last ten episodes but I come out every time feeling like I've been punched in the face. It's so gratuitous, I feel like no-one on the show gives a shit about anyone else on the show anymore except the aforementioned Adama and Roslin, and maybe Bill cares about Lee a little but otherwise everyone seems to hate each other - I got into this show because it was gritty and realistic but it *was* still hopeful and it *did* still care about everyone, but now the only thing it seems to be invested in is showing how they're all bad people deep down, and I just cannot get onboard with that.

Bahhh I agree (EXCEPT Roslin is dying as well so the "happy ending" there is pretty bittersweet). I would also point out Helo and Athena, whom (or who?) I hope will succeed because I really like the two of them together (I'm pretty complacent when it comes to this show; I take whatever thrown's at me and go "OKAY, COOL" really quickly, ha ha).

I'm not quite sure what to think of BSG, to be honest; I powered through the series like a mofo a few weeks ago, and was totally in love~*~, but it's also one of the most depressing things I've ever seen, haha (I guess this is a natural result of having to put the characters through the absolute wringer but it doesn't mean I hve to like it). It's probably the only show I watch regularly where I can spend an entire episode without laughing, haha.


Though I'm still going to keep watching (only 10 more eps! WHO IS THE FINAL CYLON? WILL IT MATTER? AUGH!)
